"I don't want your answer until you have heard all three."
The demon's lips curved into a thin smile, and waited.
"First, you must protect, and never betray me until I have found my revenge."
"You must unconditionally obey every order that I give to you."
"Last, you must never lie to me."
The demon thought for a moment. Certainly, he would be able to carry out anything this boy could ask him to do, and perhaps this would make his soul all the more worthwhile.
The demon answered.
